Woyww my #6 and atc share

hi everyone happy wednesday!  And if anybody wants to know what i am talking about, you can jump to julias stamping ground that should explain everything. We have been busy with family here the past couple of days so i have not been able to create anything....except my First You Tube Video about my smash book and the atc i recieved from Eliza at Queenartoypia   yay!!. i may have been a little tongue tied and got a little info wrong on the video but i think i did ok.  and next time i will not be holding the camera  lol  here i have some pictures of my atc i recieved.  First, I finally found a frame and spot to show off the atcs that Deeyl sent me.  Then the awesome Eliza from Australia. love her atc that she sent ( still lookimg for a frame for hers).  I mean i don't know how to emboss or do this kind of art so i think it is wonderful!  Well look out for more videos coming soon!  You can see my new one here on you tube  there are 2 parts so Enjoy!

oh this is the smash book i started. can you believe it was an old microwave cook book?

well this is the inside cover and first page.  i was holding onto an old camelot calendar and now i have a place to use those wonderful images

and everyone know that a smash book is where you can keep your precious junk..lol  so here was a cand wrapper that i saved from wheni was 13 years old from my cousin in japan.( thats on the orange and pink page) the opposite page is one from my favorite magazine when i was young ( Wizard, for all those comic book fans)

one of my boys birthday party that we celebrated this summer.  i mean the napkins from the theme was art in itself i had to save one along with pics i printed out to make a custom coloring book as the thank you gift.

If you love to nose around other peoples desks please join others like you around the world at Julia's stamping ground where everyone can join in on the fun...very very late on this so sorry but we all have been under the weather but here i am now.  first off i recieved my first atc swap from the wonderful and talented Deeyll you should definitely pop over to her desk and check her creativity out.  i love the beautiful atc's that she sent me i fawned over the colors and textures.  but most of all was i suprised with the dangly and 3d wonderfulness she put on the cards.  i am so in love with both of them i can imagine how hard it was for her to even let them go..lol  thats how i felt too. i do not know all the jargon for crafters and stampers but i do know art when i see it.  Thank you so much DEEYLL!

WOYWW #2 !! the art MUSE is back!

Hi everyone.  I am happy to say my art muse ended her vacation and is back.  Either that or it is WOYWW!!! So hop over to Julia's blog and have a peek at what is strewn over artists' desks and workspaces!  I also think that the lovely Queen Lightwell  also put the mood back by being to kind as to do an atc trade!!! soo very excited my very first atc.  I worked all night long and i can tell you i am feeling good!  You should hop on over to check her out too!  Everyone has been so lovely with my plight thank you for helping me get out of my funk!  I want to share with you my workspace.  last night i confiscated the dining room table!!  and still wasnt enough room....all for an ATC?  lol  now all i can say is that i am not a crafter but a painter soo i hope she will love it!!!  please click for larger images.  and if you would like and have to the time i would be most happy to hear from you so leave a comment.  heArtLilian

my first WOYWW #1

sorry for not posting earlier but the little luvs and i decided to spend the summer solstice at our local waterpark.  hope everyone is enjoying the sun..this is my post for WOYWW you can pop by her lovely site and be nosey, check out other bloggers desks...so here is my youngest and of course he is the cutest reason nothing ever gets done, art related and so forth...lol

my cutie patootie, and on my desk , my art journal, black coffee(because my boys have to start summer days before the sun is up) and a basket filled with my boys summer reading log

also an ipad box, i was thinking of making something out of it because it is really nice material  hmmm?
